Refund policy

Welcome to SmartKart. Customer satisfaction is our priority. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return Eligibility

Customers can request a return within 4 days of receiving the product if:

  • Product is damaged or defective.
  • Wrong product has been delivered.
  • Product is missing parts or accessories.
  • Product is significantly different from the description shown on our website.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Product must be unused and in its original condition.
  • Original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included.
  • Proof of purchase/order number must be provided.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling.
  • Items returned without original packaging.
  • Products showing signs of use.
  • Personal care, hygiene, or consumable items (if applicable).

3. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our customer support team within 3 days of delivery.
  2. Share your Order ID and product images/videos.
  3. Our team will review the request within 24–48 hours.
  4. If approved, a reverse pickup will be arranged where available.

4. Refund Policy

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be transferred to the customer's bank account or UPI ID.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Share clear photos/videos of the product and packaging.
  • Replacement or refund will be provided after verification.

6. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be canceled before they are shipped.
  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
  • If canceled successfully, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.

7. Shipping Charges

  • Return shipping charges will be borne by SmartKart only if the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect product).
  • For other approved returns, shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
