Refund policy
Welcome to SmartKart. Customer satisfaction is our priority. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Return Eligibility
Customers can request a return within 4 days of receiving the product if:
- Product is damaged or defective.
- Wrong product has been delivered.
- Product is missing parts or accessories.
- Product is significantly different from the description shown on our website.
To be eligible for a return:
- Product must be unused and in its original condition.
- Original packaging, tags, and accessories must be included.
- Proof of purchase/order number must be provided.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Returns will not be accepted for:
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper handling.
- Items returned without original packaging.
- Products showing signs of use.
- Personal care, hygiene, or consumable items (if applicable).
3. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our customer support team within 3 days of delivery.
- Share your Order ID and product images/videos.
- Our team will review the request within 24–48 hours.
- If approved, a reverse pickup will be arranged where available.
4. Refund Policy
Once the returned product is received and inspected:
- Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be transferred to the customer's bank account or UPI ID.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:
- Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.
- Share clear photos/videos of the product and packaging.
- Replacement or refund will be provided after verification.
6. Order Cancellation
- Orders can be canceled before they are shipped.
- Once an order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible.
- If canceled successfully, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
7. Shipping Charges
- Return shipping charges will be borne by SmartKart only if the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect product).
- For other approved returns, shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
